My Design Philosophy
Think Big Picture and Back Your Decisions
Too often than not, it’s easy to falter to decision paralysis or not having the confidence to make the call on a solution. Regardless of what is decided, I always assure myself, my clients, and my peers that solutions should be an iterative process. While solutions are an iterative process, making sure that your decisions are grounded by evidence - even it’s a hypothesis.

Double Diamond Design Process
This is the main method I refer to for my hybrid occupation of a Product Designer and Product Owner. I learned about this method during my undergraduate years at Portland State University. This type of design thinking helped me expand and narrow down design solutions in every design space I’ve been involved in: Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Interior Design, figuring out a place to eat… you name it!
Setting Up Dev Handoff File
Maintaining clear communication and intention with design solutions
Within the sections, it’s clear when viewers are looking at a user journey or a new feature. To pair with these efforts, prototypes are created as well as arrows/boxes to further add to the annotations. The following features are used to support this process:
Figma Annotations
Figma Sections
Atlassian Plugin for Jira Tickets
Figma Components for Custom Status Tracker
